Now into its fifth year, the Creme of Nature £10,000 Community Action Award is focused on those individuals with great ideas and vision who work in voluntary, faith and community groups and whose primary objective is to support and encourage women.
The 5 finalists have been announced and now it’s all down to you to vote for your favourite – the finalist with the largest number of votes on the 20th May wins £10,000, with the runner up winning £5000.
The Creme of Nature Community Action Award is all about giving something back to the communities up and down the country that has supported one of the most well known brands in the hair and beauty market for the past 30 years.
The first Award in 2008 was presented to Be Totally You who created a Hair Training Salon in Bromley followed in 2009 with the Award going to the Shern Hall Methodist Youth Steel Band who had been waiting for over 4 years for a set of their own pans. In 2010 the Award went to Student Action in Manchester to enable long term development work to be started with marginalised women and the Award stayed in Manchester in 2011 when Victory Outreach scooped the £10,000 to make their dreams of helping local disadvantaged people a reality.
The Creme of Nature Community Action Award is all about making a real difference.
