Taste the Carnival Spirit with Caribbean Food Week 2015
The countdown is on to the most mouth-watering week of the summer: Caribbean Food Week, which takes place 24-31 August. Tastebuds are tingling in anticipation as food-lovers prepare for the week that leads up to the world-famous Notting Hill Carnival.
Organised by Grace Foods UK, the UK’s number one supplier of Caribbean food and drink*1, the Week presents the perfect opportunity to enjoy a taste of the Caribbean, whether it’s jerk chicken, curried goat or a delicious Caribbean cocktail!
The Week will be celebrated with a national sampling campaign at locations across the UK, in-store promotional offers and a social media campaign, giving Caribbean food fans the chance to win carnival themed prizes and products to try their hand at Caribbean cuisine.
Asda, Morrisons, Sainsburys and Tesco stores across the UK will run promotional offers on leading Caribbean products; including chilli sauces, coconut milks, spices and seasonings, coconut water, aloe vera drinks and tropical juices.
Since launching in 2012, Caribbean Food Week has continued to grow as people become more adventurous with their cooking and demand for new taste experiences is growing.
“Demand for Caribbean flavours is at an all-time-high as people are discovering how easy it can be to create Caribbean dishes with incredible flavours,” says Ryan Mack, Managing Director of Grace Foods UK. “Caribbean Food Week is the perfect time to get into the Caribbean spirit – what better way to bring a taste of holiday to home – not even the British weather can impact that!”
Whether or not the weather is tropical, bring a taste of sunshine into your home this summer with Caribbean Food Week!
