What do paradise, handmade luxury shoes, and the internet all have in common? Well, ask Angel Smith, a 27 year old Londoner of Jamaican decent. This month she has managed to combine all three to create her own online boutique, Shoe Lagoon.
Shoe Lagoon, which houses ladies shoes, bags and accessories, officially launched on 1st August 2006. This is a dream that has been with Angel since 2004.
“It has been two years of research and hard work, but I’m so happy that it’s live. I have loved Shoes and Bags all my life and decided to start my own business selling them because shopping wasn’t fun anymore. With overcrowded high streets, overheated stores and stressed sales assistants, I decided to establish an easy way for people to browse through good quality goods in a comfortable environment. This is where Shoe Lagoon comes in, people can shop from their home, their desk or even on the beach!”
Shoe Lagoon houses a collection of new and exclusive designer brands including its very own range which is handmade in Brazil. Shoes are available in sizes 3 to 9 and Angel has also provided all her customers with the option of free delivery and free returns.
Ladies worried about buying shoes online needn’t fear Shoe Lagoon also offers a unique Fitting and Care Guide with detailed information on how to measure your feet and that’s not all. There is also an online magazine, with news, information, advice and a competition every month.
