About Alison Hinds
Alison Hinds queen of soca! Born in 1970, in England, and raised in Barbados the Bajan female soca artist has become one of the most popular soca artists globally.
She was lead vocalist in the successful soca band Square One from 1987 to 2004, before going on to enjoying significant solo success.
After a short break from music she featured on a remix of Kevin Lyttle’s worldwide hit ‘Turn Me On’.
Female anthem ‘Roll It Gal’ with ‘The Alison Hinds Show’ became a huge hit in 2005/6, collaborating with Machel Montano for the following remix.
Her debut solo album Soca Queen was released in October 2007 to international acclaim, followed by Caribbean Queen in 2010.
