King SSP Sound System 2016 Notting Hill Carnival
The music is ready, the sun is shining, the stages are under construction, which means only one thing, Notting Hill Carnival is almost here! One of the highlights to the weekend is guaranteed to be the King SSP Sound system at Kensal Road, Alderson Street.
Featuring Toddla T as the curator, the carnival vibes will be in full swing as the reggae and soca sounds will be in full effect, bringing the streets to life with dance and partying.
Streaming live via FACT on Sunday, BBC Radio 1Xtra will also be recording from the system on Monday meaning that even if you’re not going to be there in person, you don’t have to miss out.
Although the 2016 line up is currently being kept tightly under wraps, we can stake a high bet on it being one of the best to see. The sound system has previously proven a firm favourite with carnival goers thanks to the cream of artists blessing the stage, which have included; Sean Paul, Julio Bashmore B2B T Williams, Lady Leshurr, Jammer, Redlight, Gyptian, Levels, Semtex, Cadenza, Mella Dee and DRS. King SSP Sound also hit Glastonbury this year with an equally impressive line up that featured Charlie Sloth, Section Boyz, Lady Leshurr, Protoje, The Heatwave, Fekky, J Hus, DRS, Mele and Nadia Rose!
Get your whistles ready, it’s about to BLOW at King SSP Sound!
